After School Programs

BLAST Jr/Sr - The BLAST (Bringing Learning to After School Time) program offers a safe environment and extended learning opportunities for youth to develop physical literacy and healthy living and social and emotional skills through various activities and participation in recreation. The program also builds positive peer relationships and leadership skill development, while engaging students with their community through daily and weekly activities, including field trips and visits from community leaders. Please contact CSP for any questions. 

Jr (Grades 1-3): Wednesdays 2:30-4:30

Sr (Grades 4-7): Mondays and Thursdays 2:30-4:30

The S.T.A.R.R 's afterschool program run for 8 weeks at a time, three times a year and are offered for students Grade 1-7:

  1. Connect 728: This program is an all year program that helps prepare Grade 7 students for high school through the mentorship of Grade 8 students. 
  2. Art and Games Club: For students Grade 1-5, this program offers a variety of activities consisting of art, cooking, teamwork activities while learning gratitude and kindness for our community
  3. Girls Group: For any Grade 6-7 female students or any students who identify as female. This program covers various topics such as gang prevention, social media safety, body positivity and body image, self esteem, self care, high school preparation and healthy relationships.
  4. Boys Group: For any Grade 6-7 male students or any students who identify as male. This program focuses on teamwork, positive friendship and relationships, gang prevention, community connectedness, social media safety, and high school preparation. 

LEARNING BUDDIES NETWORK – After school tutoring services offered to help students of gr. 3-6 in math and reading . Please contact Ms. Gryb if you have any questions.  

When: Thursday from 330PM-430PM. 

CHOIR: Choir is an extra-curricular singing ensemble that meets at 7:50 am on Tuesday mornings, in the gym. It is open to students in grades 3-7 (and in grades 2-7 starting in January). Choir is inclusive, and welcomes all levels of singers! It is a great place for students to further explore musical texture and harmony, and advance their musical skills.
